Keeping Vishnu’s memories and work at UMich College alive, The Vishnu Murthy Foundation established a $2000/year scholarship for a period of 5 years (total of $10,000) at the University of Michigan College of Engineering and Computer Science. 

The scholarship aims to help undergraduate students including International Students with their tuition fees and college expenses. Students who are actively involved in teaching other students, registered as a mentor through Center for Academic Success or an Instructional Assistant in the College of Engineering and Computer Science will be given a preference for their service to the student community.
